This Bandai Star Wars 1/72 X-Wing Star Fighter is a 1/72 scale model of the formidable Rebel Alliance starfighter. Balancing speed with firepower, the X-Wing is armed with four laser cannons and two proton torpedo launchers. Nimble engines give the X-wing an edge during dogfights, and it can make long-range jumps with its hyperdrive and its astromech droid co-pilot. This model can be built with R2-D2 to replicate the version flown by Luke Skywalker in Star Wars Episode IV A New Hope, Episode V The Empire Strikes Back, and Episode VI Return of the Jedi. Plus, the included R5-D4 model lets you equip the model with a different astromech droid and build the model as a different Rebel Alliance fighter.

This highly detailed kit has snap together, pre-colored pieces, detailed cockpit interior and seated pilot, optional landing gear, optional canopy, exhaust port and torpedo, R2-D2 & R5-D4, angle adjustable stand and optional decals (sticker or water). Additionally, this 1/72 X-Wing features opening and closing S-foils and a cockpit with 2 different canopy options. An included Death Star panel themed display stand can connect with stands from other vehicles to recreate the iconic Death Star Trench Run. The exhaust of the trench and 2 proton torpedo effect parts are included with this x-wing to recreate the Rebel victory in "Star Wars: A New Hope." Also includes seated pilot, part swappable landing gear options, water slide and sticker transfer options.

No glue required for assembly. A hobby nipper is required to remove parts from the parts trees.
Colored plastic, little to no paint required to replicate appearance, but can be customized with model paints if desired.
